Profiles are serialized pieces of configuration for persistent components
(mainly tools) of a CPS instance.
They are used to initialize the CPS components to setup a workable CPS portal
(with document types, schemas, layouts, directories, CPSSkins themes, usw...)
You can import, export, snapshot and compare profiles thanks to the portal_setup
tool.
