This looks fine.

well not with latest releases of NXLucene. I don't ship the PyLucene
binaries along anymore. Be sure to use the latest release :

No need to install nxlucecne within the Zope-2.9 tree. NXLucene is a
standalone server.
On the CPS stack you will need :
http://svn.nuxeo.org/pub/Zope3/nuxeo.lucene
http://svn.nuxeo.org/pub/CPS3/products/CPSLuceneCatalog/

Can you check the interpreter within the runnxlucene script ? This is
setup to "#!/usr/bin/env python2.4" by default. You may want to change
this to the right interpretor.
I didn't find the time to have a proper configure and the packaging is
not done yet for NXLucene. If you wanna help I would be really happy
about that since I have hard time finding time to finish this right now...
Thank you for trying out NXLucene. I'd be really happy to get feedbacks
from your experience.
