[CPS-devel] Notifications not by email - just on site interface

Hi,

I would like to have a notification system not depending on email, or at
least, be configured upon choice (email versus notes on site)
That is, notifications could be shown on user interface as a list of
documents (of type notification), and would go away once read or deleted by
the user.
This would be interesting for CPS installations not having a SMTP server
or when such facility can not be used for some reason. Or simply when users
won't receive lots of notification emails.
   Is this feasible? Possible? Worth?
   Thanks for your comments
