Hi,
please stay on the list, as it's possible that others have the same 
problem, or perhaps have a solution for your problem.
I don't know if CPS 3.4.3 brings a fix for this behaviour, you could 
take a look at 
http://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/pub/browser/CPS3/products/CPSSkins/trunk/HISTORY 
and see if there is any change that could fix this.
Also, you could leave the theme as tableless and only change the page 
theme and make it macroless.
