[CPS-translators] Why CPS says my pt-BR.po file is bad?

I had problems also with UTF-8; then I converted all pot files to
ISO-8859-1 which is the default in my system and appropriated for pt-BR.

yes, I know. But how to leave them without having errors when 
validating the file?

could these errors be related to ISO-8859-1 charset? (I'll try to change
them to ISO-8859-15 to test)

but as I said, importing the files directly through the zmi works.
