I have tried Rosetta a couple of months ago, and again last week, and I think it has several shortcomings, the most severe one being that without the context for the strings to translate, it is very hard to do quality translations. We could work on those shortcomings, if it was free/open source software, but it is not. That's the main reason why we're asking for opinions. S.
