It is possible however to create a "front page" document somewhere in the site in several languages and place a "Document Portlet" on the front page that points at it. Having this as a default site setup would be a bit overkill though, and using localizer is still the easiest option although I wouldn't use it myself. To create front pages in different languages we use several sections (EN, SV) and one of them is the default front page, but this requires some extra setup in apache. /JM
