[CPS-users] Page selection in a theme?

I'd like to apply the "Front" theme page also for the Sections (because 
I'm thinking of hiding everything above the sections when you go via 
Apache). How does the page selection work, really? I can't figure out 
how the "Front" theme page gets applied.
