yes! I'm using CPSLDAPSetup.

uh! I didn't know that. Wouldn't be a good option to have a 'fake'
field just to avoid such errors?

BTW, I've reinstalled CPS from scratch, using CPS-3-full-2006-08-03
and today I'll upgrade to CPS-3.4.2.
