Hi,

  I had the same problem; it seems this is a bug / enhancement / ticket
(according do JM).

  Go to portal_themes, 'Method Themes' tab  (ZMI) and change the name
'default'  to your theme name. I thought 'default' here would mean the
default theme, but it seems it's being interpreted as the theme name.

  This worked for me; hope it helps you.
