 This happens in nuxeo.lucene (in the rss code that's shared with NXLucene)
 and impacts CPSLuceneCatalog in the following way: most (if not all) empty
 strings values get returned in the brain as a 'None' string. In
 particular, they evaluate to True in ``tal:condition`` or any boolean
 cast.
