 that looks like a really nice feature that can save a lot of time for
 writers. For it to be useful practically there ought to be a destination
 section like in the submit form displaying as a drop-down list or a list
 of radio buttons (currently the destination is set to '/sections/').

 in our use cases, not all sites use '/sections' for the publication
 spaces, for instance we have /EN, /SV, /Internt, ... so at least the
 destination root ought to be selectable.

 then we use '/workspaces' to store all documents, the English documents
 may be stored in 'workspaces/English', or in 'workspaces/EN', so there is
 no direct mapping between workspace URLs and section URLs either, hence
 the need to be able to select the exact destination in the publication
 spaces.
