Comment:

 Fixed with changeset [52728].

 The problem had been introduced with changeset [28768] with the use of a
 "bcc" field but still specifying a "to" field initialized to the sender
 address.

 The solution was simple: do not specify any "to" field. This display as an
 undisclosed-recipients in the "to" field when recipients receive the
 email.
