Comment:

 The installation at the client location was done with Twisted-2.5.0.

 I have no mean to test on the client machine at this time but I have just
 done the same tests as you have and came to the same conclusion.

 The only test I haven't done is a wild reboot (pulling up the cable) and I
 don't plan to.

 So closing.
