Hi!

I also think that what is needed right now is a bootstrapping phase and
having something to propose to get developers' and users' interest.
Contributions can be done in terms of code in svn, but at this
particular phase I believe that what is needed is overall conceptual
design, as opposed to the creation of generic framework components put
in a common repository that maybe work together.

most of the time that I'm spending on cpsskins is not in writing the
code but in the conceptual design.

that's basically where we are: we need an architecture design, and this
is not necessarily attached to any specific svn repository. There are so
many components involved that the chances are that they'll reside in
several repositories.

PS: the cmaptool maps can be published on servers to let several people
contribute on the same maps. here are the ones that I have
