We may need some more information about the Z3 Base from Martijn or Philip, but as far as I can see, the visible part of it is currently (according to http://codespeak.net/z3/): - a very low traffic discussion mailing list (http://codespeak.net/mailman/listinfo/z3) and a checkins mailing list - an IRC channel (OK I'm not a big IRC user so I can't comment) - a SVN with several interesing and active projects, some of which aren't publicised on the portal - a bugtracker that is currently broken so I can't comment I don't think their work is forgotten at all, and it is appreciated and will be used in the project, I'm sure. What we've just set up is a collaborative portal an a mailing list to work on Z3ECM. > Let's de-emphasize the branding Z3 Lab until we have a chance at > EuroPython to sort this all out. I don't care much about this kind of branding, as long as it is not called "goldegg" ;) > Thus, let's stick to the existing IRC > channel and remove the portlet. I don't get it. We *need* some explanation about what our purpose is, otherwise how would people figure out. The text currently says "The Z3Lab is a starting point to build the next-generation Open Source ECM Platform". It doesn't describe z3lab.org as a project, but as a starting point for a project which we currently call "the next-generation Open Source ECM Platform", and I'd gladly call Z3ECM.
