After all, to many people, Plone is a platform that they can build other applications on. I also somewhat doubt you can build a useful platform without trying a few 'working systems' on top of it, so we better figure that out. :) Anyway, that's a good thing to remember to improve in our outside communication; mention the word 'framework' a bit more and describe how it all could fit in.
