One of main issues with Zope powered system is the high system power needed.
Script based CMS are 5 to 10 times faster and can be deployed over
several web servers easily.
Using ZEO is also not so trivial.

So we could integrate a staging system keeping the editors and the live
system(s) apart.
On the live systems there will be only Zope independent content
generated by the master systen. This may be static HTML pages or even 
scripts like PHP. That just depends on the templates. The pages can be
served by any webserver.

I've seen this in several commercial CMS and it is very importent for
high traffic web pages.
